Cypress Wind Turbines Oy (CWT) keskitti toimintojaan.

Tytäryhtiö Cypress Telecom Europe Oy (lyhenne CTE) (aputoiminimeltään Cypress R-energy) on myyty.

CWTllä on nyt yksinään oikeudet valmistaa Savonius tyypisiä Cypress vertikaalituuliturbiineita

CWT jatkaa Telecom mastoihin soveltuvien pystytuuliturbiinien valmistusta ja kehitystä. Toimituksissa käytetään CWT:n kehittämää sähköverkkoon syöttävää kolmivaihe-elektroniikkaa.

Cypress-turbiini tuottaa sähköä myös kovan tuulen aikana, eikä turbiinia tarvitse pysäyttää edes myrskyllä.

Turbiini kovalle tuulelle (CWT-302GS) on 4m korkea ja kevyen tuulen versio (CWT-602GS) on 8m korkea. Halkaisija on vain 1,3m, joten roottori on hyvin lähellä mastoa, eikä siten aiheuta mastoon suurta vääntömomenttia.
 

Re-organization of Cypress operations

Cypress Wind Turbines Oy (CWT) has sold its daughter company Cypress Telecom Europe Oy (CTE) (supplementary firm name: Cypress R-energy).

CWT has now exclusive rights to manufacture and sell Cypress Vertical Wind Turbines. Cypress turbines are Savonius type turbines.

CWT continues to produce and develop vertical wind turbines for Telecom masts.

Deliveries are equipped with a 3-phase grid supply: 3x400V, developed by CWT.

Cypress wind turbines harvest energy also during high wind velocities. There is no need to stop the rotor even in extreme weather.

Cypress turbine version CWT-302GS for high winds has a height of 4 meters and the light winds version CWT-602GS is physically 8 meters high. As the diameter is only 130 cm Cypress creates minimum torsion for the mast, and thus it is the perfect solution for telecom structures.
