Anniversary of Cypress rooftop installation at Espoo

On 24th November was the 1st anniversary of Cypress CWT-203BT rooftop installation at the Technical University of Helsinki at Espoo.

The prototype turbine has been running without any stops for the whole year. There has not been any down-time and no need for mechanical service during the first testing year. This has been a very positive sign for the product development team of Cypress Wind Turbines Oy.

The rooftop version for CWT-302BT contains 2kW generator, three wing pairs and three pairs of stays: Each pair has one stay down from the top and one down from the middle.

Cypress turbines are made to last.
